Nominating committee requests nominees for the board

As chairman of this year's nominating committee, I invite you to submit a nomination for a position as an officer or a director of the 2016 AARC governing board. If you want to serve, or you know someone who you think would make a good member of the board, please contact one of the members of the nominating committee and let us know. The committee consists of Jim Goldsberry(KB3NQY), Patti Hammar (KB1MVV), and me, Chuck Tanner, K3ACT. The deadline for nominations is the first club meeting in November, on 5 November.
We are very fortunate this year to have all 7 of our board members indicate that they are willing to stand for re-election for next year's board. However, the democratic process dictates that we keep the floor open for other nominations. So if you or someone you know would like to "throw your hat into the ring", please let us know.
We all know that AARC is a great club, and we want to make it even better. So be sure to plan to place any nominations you may have before 5 November, and plan to attend the club meeting on 19 November and vote for the candidates of your choice. Thanks! ----Chuck, K3ACT
