MESH Meeting 1/20 Notes

The AARC Mesh Group meets on the third Sunday of each month from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM unless otherwise posted.

This past Sunday we had four members show up for the Meet & Greet and Show & Tell.

We had a total of nine HSMM Mesh units networked including 7 LinkSys router of which three were in portable ammo cases. We also had two Ubiquiti units, on high-gain omni and one Air-Grid.

We were able to reprogram one LinkSys to HSMM and re-assign its call sign.

Planned activites for the next meeting

Get the 2 Ubiquity router on the 40 ft tower back on the air on independant power.

We are in need of the listed equipment:

  • Weather proof box for
  • 2 12v sealed batteries
  • solar charge controller
  • exterior rated CAT-5 cable
