NORTHWARD AT 40 TO 50 MPH ACROSS NORTHERN VIRGINA...THE EASTERN
WEST VIRGINIA PANHANDLE...THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA...AND MUCH OF
MARYLAND THROUGH THE MORNING. MOST SHOWERS WILL BE BRIEF...WITH
RAINFALL TOTALS UNDER ONE TENTH INCH. HOWEVER IN THE STRONGER
ACTIVITY...VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS WILL PRODUCE ONE QUARTER INCH OR
MORE. OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WINDS CAN BE
EXPECTED IN THE ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE
TO RISE THROUGH THE 60S THIS MORNING.
